dominate second-placed Team Vamos in straight games to stay the only team
without losing a match so far. The league leaders went on to complete a perfect
week by defeating RSG Malaysia 2-0 to go 7 points clear at the top of the

Week 4 Recap: A royal rumble
Billed as the most highly
anticipated match going of the Regular Season, the match between Selangor Red
Giants and Team Vamos was going to be shaped heavily by its Junglers, with both
thriving in this assassin-dominated meta. Perhaps it was why both Junglers were
casualties number one and two, taken out within the very first minute of the
match. Team Vamos' Jungler, Muhammad Nazhan "Chibi" bin Mohd Nor,
lost both the purple buff and his life after a successful invasion by the
Giants' Mark "Kramm" Rusiana and Muhammad "Yums" Suhairi.
This was followed soon after by Muhammad Haqqullah "Sekys" bin Ahmad
Shahrul Zaman being chain crowd controlled by Exp Laner Aeliff
"Smooth" Ariff, Mid Laner Rizky "Warlord" Agustian, and
Roamer Mohammad "Xorn" Noor.
Despite much of the
pre-match spotlight being dominated by the Junglers, it was Selangor Red
Giants' Gold Laner, John "Innocent" Banal, who stole the plaudits as
Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Match with his surprise pick of Wanwan and
Moskov giving him 11 kills, zero deaths, and 9 assists. The mercurial marksman
also secured two Triple Kills, one of which came in the ultimate teamfight in
Game 2, which led to the complete Wipeout of Team Vamos.
Selangor Red Giants Coach, Michael
"Arcadia" Bocado, believes that "sacrifice" has
been core to the team's success. In response to queries about topping the
Regular Season standings and earning a place at the M6 World Championship, he
said: "We're confident that we can win it all as long as we sacrifice as
how we sacrificed last season."
However, he also
cautioned: "I think that the confidence is always there. It's just up to
us how we're going to put in the work. Because we cannot just be confident and
not do anything extraordinary or don't put the work into the game."
